“We are excited to be developing one of the largest modern distribution centres in the country, Stephen Hawkins, Managing Director of LOGOS South East Asia said. “We are seeing strong and growing tenant demand in the Greater Jakarta market. Indonesia’s young population, growing middle-class, and rising consumption make it a very attractive market for the logistics industry.”
“It is a rare opportunity to acquire a site this close to Jakarta and develop a modern high capacity distribution centre that offers multiple users access to the Greater Jakarta urban areas. The site is very well-situated for e-commerce, retail logistics and FMCG logistics operations.”
LOGOS recently established a venture for Indonesia to focus on developing and owning high quality, modern logistics properties in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia. The commitments provide LOGOS with over US$400 million in investment capacity. LOGOS has identified a strong pipeline of development opportunities to meet the increasing demand for modern logistics facilities on the back of Indonesia?s compelling macroeconomic fundamentals, rapid e-commerce growth and growing logistics sector.
