LOGOS is pleased to announce it is developing a purpose built circa 13,000sqm logistics facility for LF Logistics, an international leading logistics services provider, at its Marsden Park Logistics Estate in Sydney, extending its partnership into the Australian market.
Having recently developed a three-storey, 102,197sqm facility for LF Logistics at its Wujiang FOHO E-commerce Hub Logistics Center in China, LOGOS has commenced development of their Marsden Park facility inclusive of a multi-level mezzanine. LF Logistics has committed to a long-term lease on the facility, which is scheduled for completion in August 2020.
Darren Searle, LOGOS’ Head of Australia and New Zealand said: “As an Asia Pacific logistics specialist, a key focus is on supporting our customers’ growth across the region, and we are very pleased to be extending our partnership with LF Logistics for their first facility in Australia.
“Marsden Park Logistics Estate offers tenants with excellent transport access to both the M7 and M4, enabling them to service greater Sydney and further afield; a key requirement given the continued growth in eCommerce. We look forward to working with LF Logistics to deliver this new facility and welcome them to the Estate alongside existing customers Orrcon Steel, EBOS, Lyppard, Valleyfresh and eStore,” he added.
Greg Amos, LF Logistics’ Head of Australia said: “Following the successful Wujiang project, we are grateful to extend our fruitful partnership with LOGOS to our pioneer project in Australia. Marrying the strengths and expertise of the two companies, this new facility marks a strong start for our Australian operations as we build a greater presence and network across the country. Our new Australian operations is backed by our extensive logistics experience across a range of industries in Asia.”
LF Logistics partnered with property and supply chain firm TM Insight on the operational design and procurement of the new facility. TM Insight will also act as the project manager on behalf of LF Logistics.
“We are thrilled to be working with LF Logistics on their first facility in Australia. This new warehouse is designed around the fulfilment needs of LF Logistics’ clients, while also allowing LF Logistics to expand as they grow their presence in Australia. The building will be fitted out with an extensive multi-level mezzanine to increase storage capacity, while maximising footprint,” said Adam McDonald, Director at TM Insight.
Marsden Park Logistics Estate is owned by the LOGOS Australia Logistics Venture (LALV), a partnership established in late 2014 between LOGOS and its capital partners to acquire and develop prime logistics estates across Australia. The Estate also includes a purpose built 6,224sqm facility for the global produce distributors, Valleyfresh; a 12,515sqm facility for eStore, Australia’s largest third-party logistics provider; a 3,563sqm facility for veterinary wholesale distributor, Lyppard; and a circa 16,000sqm warehouse and office facility for Orrcon Steel. On completion, Marsden Park Logistics Estate will comprise over 100,000sqm of prime, logistics space, servicing the broader Western Sydney area.
LOGOS’ Australian and New Zealand portfolio includes assets and developments across New South, Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland and Auckland, with a completed value of A$4.3 billion.
